In this role, you will provide specialized care to patients with cardiac arrhythmias, supporting electrophysiology procedures such as ablations and device implants. Responsibilities include patient assessment, preparation and monitoring during EP studies, interpreting rhythm strips, and collaborating with cardiologists and the care team to optimize outcomes. You will document care accurately, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and educate patients and families. Responsibilities Provide specialized clinical care to patients with cardiac arrhythmias Assist and monitor patients during electrophysiology procedures and device implants Perform and interpret cardiac monitoring and rhythm strips Prepare patients and procedure rooms for EP studies and interventions Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and allied staff to develop care plans Educate patients and families on procedures, treatment plans, and follow-up care Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and records Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards Utilize advanced EP technology and equipment effectively Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities Required Skills Cardiac electrophysiology procedures Cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation Patient assessment and triage EP lab equipment operation Infection control and safety protocols Electronic medical record documentation Hemodynamic monitoring Patient and family education Interdisciplinary teamwork Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS)
