Job Description:
The University of Saint Joseph invites qualified applicants to serve as temporary simulation operations specialist within the Nursing Department. The department is actively recruiting several simulation operations specialists.
We currently have openings:
Simulation Operations Specialist Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Maintain equipment and stock of lab supplies Perform daily, weekly, monthly equipment maintenance Maintain the lab in safe, clean, prepared working order Operate simulation equipment (i.e. high-fidelity manikins) during simulations Commitment to the mission of the University of Saint Joseph Physical ability to perform essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in nursing required Current RN Licensure in the State of Connecticut (must be valid and in good standing)
Compensation:
$40.00/hour Senior Simulation Operations Specialist Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): When Simulation Educator is not present, responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the simulation lab, and running simulations Supports students through simulation-based learning Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, repair simulation and nursing skills lab equipment Morning and evening start up and shut down of lab Commitment to the mission of the University of Saint Joseph Physical ability to perform essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Requirements:
Master's degree in nursing required Current RN Licensure in the State of Connecticut (must be valid and in good standing)
Compensation:
$60.00/hour
Additional Information:
Assignments are temporary, part-time, hours vary, and non-benefit eligible. Regular attendance is an essential job function as it demonstrates dependability towards the performance of job duties.
