Key Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted RN license Minimum of two years' recent experience in CVOR nursing Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications In-depth knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and sterile field protocols Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced surgical setting

Primary Responsibilities:

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members before, during, and after cardiovascular operations Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and instruments according to CVOR protocols Provide comprehensive care to surgical patients, monitoring condition and responding rapidly to changes Maintain strict adherence to aseptic and safety standards to prevent infection and maximize patient outcomes Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses with accuracy and thoroughness Assist with patient positioning, surgical counts, and specimen collection as required This role will help expand your CVOR experience and offers the opportunity to positively impact surgical outcomes for patients requiring cardiovascular interventions.
