independent contractor opportunity designed for therapists who want to add home health visits around their existing schedule — without committing to another fixed work schedule. Set Your Own Schedule You choose: The patients you accept The days and times you work How many visits you take The areas of Cape Coral you're willing to cover No minimum weekly caseload. No fixed schedule. Take a few visits per week for supplemental income or build a larger caseload as patients become available. Compensation Compensation is paid per completed visit, not hourly:

PT / OT OASIS

evaluations: $115 per visit PT / OT evaluations: $90 per visit PT / OT follow-up visits: $75 per visit

PTA / COTA

follow-up visits: $55-$60 per visit, based on experience Cape Coral Coverage This opening is specifically focused on expanding our Cape Coral coverage. Clinicians can choose the portions of Cape Coral they are comfortable covering and accept visits based on their own availability. You are not required to accept every patient offered. Physical Therapists / Occupational Therapists Perform home health evaluations and reassessments within your discipline Establish and update individualized plans of care Complete OASIS assessments when applicable Provide skilled therapy treatment in the patient's home Coordinate care with assistants and other members of the home health team Complete required documentation accurately and within agency guidelines PTAs / COTAs Provide skilled treatment according to the therapist-established plan of care Monitor patient response and progress Communicate relevant changes to the supervising PT or OT Provide patient and caregiver education and home programs Complete required visit documentation accurately and within agency guidelines Requirements Current, unrestricted Florida PT, PTA, OT, or COTA license Reliable transportation Current driver's license and automobile insurance Ability to travel to patients' homes within your selected coverage area Strong communication and independent time-management skills Ability to complete required home health documentation Home health experience is preferred, but qualified clinicians with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply About Strong Step Forward Strong Step Forward is a growing Southwest Florida therapy provider focused on connecting qualified clinicians with home health patients while giving therapists greater control over when they work, where they work, and how much they take on.
