Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - MS Oncology Job Type Contract Advance your nursing career specializing in oncology and medical-surgical care in a dynamic clinical environment. This contract opportunity is focused on the treatment of skin and melanoma patients, providing critical support and compassionate care as part of a multidisciplinary team. The position is designed for experienced Registered Nurses seeking to build their expertise in oncology and medical-surgical settings, and offers a weekday daytime schedule for optimal work-life balance.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
Required Qualifications:
Active Florida State Registered Nurse License or Compact License Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications College diploma or official transcripts uploaded with profile at submission Minimum of one year experience in Med Surg or Oncology nursing Applicants may not reside in Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties due to compliance requirements
Preferred Experience:
Direct experience in oncology, particularly skin and melanoma care Strong communication and critical thinking skills Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based nursing care to medical-surgical and oncology patients Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes Prepare and administer prescribed medications and treatments Coordinate closely with physicians and specialists within the Skin and Melanoma department Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care needs
