Category Respiratory - Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in respiratory care to a dynamic healthcare environment, utilizing your skills to provide critical support to patients in need. This contract position is ideal for Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) and Certified Respiratory Therapists (CRT) ready to start as soon as possible. Please note, applicants residing in Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties are not eligible for consideration.
Schedule:
3 x 12-hour night shifts per week Specific days of the week to be determined during the interview process
Qualifications:
Current State of Florida Respiratory Care license (CRT or RRT accepted) BLS and ACLS certifications required College diploma or transcripts in respiratory therapy Ability to relocate or reside outside Broward, Dade, and Palm Beach counties Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders Maintain and operate respiratory therapy equipment in accordance with protocols Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust care accordingly Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to promote optimal patient outcomes Document patient care activities accurately and promptly Why consider this opportunity?
