In this high-acuity unit, you will provide comprehensive care to critically ill burn patients, including complex wound management, ventilator support, and hemodynamic monitoring. Responsibilities Deliver high-acuity nursing care to adult burn ICU patients Monitor, assess, and document patient status and vital trends Administer medications, infusions, and advanced wound care treatments Manage ventilators and complex equipment per ICU protocols Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery Maintain strict infection control and patient safety standards Precept and support newer nurses in the burn ICU environment Required Skills Critical care nursing Burn care management Ventilator management Hemodynamic monitoring Wound care and dressing changes IV therapy and medication infusion ACLS protocols Pain and sedation management Infection control Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation
