Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to provide comprehensive patient care across diverse clinical settings. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations, assess patient histories, and develop individualized care plans aligned with best practices and current clinical guidelines. Prescribe medications and treatment regimens in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements, ensuring compliance with DEA regulations. Perform advanced procedures such as suturing, venipuncture, catheterization, spinal taps, and dermal filler injections while maintaining sterile technique. Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties including gastroenterology, geriatrics, behavioral health, and critical care environments such as ICU and trauma centers. Utilize EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner to document patient encounters accurately, track progress, and facilitate seamless communication among healthcare providers. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans and discharge strategies. Engage in telehealth services to extend access to care for remote or underserved populations while maintaining high standards of clinical quality. Participate in clinical research projects to advance evidence-based practices and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications Valid licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with certification in a specialized area such as family practice, adult-gerontology, or emergency medicine. Demonstrated experience working in diverse clinical settings including hospital medicine, emergency rooms, ICU, or outpatient clinics. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth for medical documentation and data management. Strong knowledge of physiology, pharmacology, medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Experience performing advanced procedures including IV infusion, tube feeding management, ventilator support, sonography, and sterile processing techniques. Familiarity with specialty areas such as gastroenterology treatments (e.g., botulinum toxin therapy), esthetic laser treatments, pain management strategies, hospice & palliative medicine, infectious disease care, occupational health protocols, and senior or memory care settings. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on patient education and health coaching; ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Additional qualifications preferred include critical & intensive care experience (ICU/Level I Trauma Center), pediatric (PICU), neonatal (NICU), or post-acute care experience; knowledge of Workers' Compensation law; experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays; proficiency in medical imaging or laboratory testing; familiarity with HIPAA regulations; and experience in telehealth services.
