Weekly overtime after 40 hours About the Position We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week contract assignment supporting the Respiratory

This position requires current

respiratory therapy experience and the ability to provide high-quality respiratory care to critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player who is comfortable working with advanced respiratory equipment, adapting quickly to changing patient needs, and partnering with nurses, physicians, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team. Key Responsibilities Provide respiratory assessment, treatment, monitoring, and evaluation for neonatal and pediatric patients. Deliver respiratory therapies and medications using advanced respiratory care technologies. Manage and monitor patients requiring advanced respiratory support. Perform respiratory treatments, nebulizer therapy, and other assigned procedures. Assist with management of patients requiring high-flow oxygen, non-invasive ventilation, and other respiratory support. Monitor patient response to therapy and communicate changes to the clinical team. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement appropriate respiratory care plans. Accurately document patient care and respiratory treatments in Meditech. Provide respiratory coverage to other areas of the hospital as needed, including adult floors for nebulizer treatments, BiPAP, CPT, and related respiratory therapies. Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, clinical quality, and compassionate care. Required Qualifications Current

respiratory therapy experience - REQUIRED 2+ years of current acute-care hospital experience as a Respiratory Therapist Current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment Strong critical-thinking and clinical assessment skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working with Meditech Experience in a Level III NICU or comparable high-acuity neonatal/pediatric setting Experience with advanced neonatal and pediatric respiratory equipment Equipment & Clinical Technologies The Respiratory
