• Infusion to join our IV therapy team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients receiving infusion therapy. You will be responsible for administering IVs and vitamin injections, as well as monitoring patient responses to treatment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infusions and possess excellent clinical skills. Responsibilities
• Administer intravenous (IV) hydration and therapies according to established protocols.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately to any changes in condition.
• Collaborate with the physician and other healthcare professional to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform venipuncture and manage IV access devices.
• Educate patients about infusion therapies, potential side effects, and self-care techniques.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care. Qualifications
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Previous experience in oncology, critical care, ICU, or medical-surgical nursing preferred.
• Proficiency in venipuncture and intravenous therapy administration.
• Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and laboratory procedures is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
