Infusion Nurse (Per Diem)
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Starting IVs on patients, administering IV medications and treatments, monitoring patients for 2-hour-long sessions, communicating with physicians, NPs, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care, maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, educating patients regarding treatments, monitoring and reporting changes in patient symptoms or behavior during appointments, provide emotional support to patients, mix infusions and administer via infusion pumps and intramuscular injections, cleaning and stocking infusion areas and supplies.Start Date:

Tuesdays and Thursdays Position Structure:
This position is being hired to support our clinical team during a temporary leave of absence of a tenured team member. We are looking for a nurse who is comfortable joining us in this coverage capacity while also being interested in the possibility of continuing with the practice long-term. Candidates should apply with the understanding that the initial staffing need is for leave coverage and that the schedule and position structure may change once the returning team member resumes their regular schedule.Qualifications:
Active nursing license, minimum of 5 years of experience as an Infusion Nurse Proven IV start experience Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, ability to build rapport with patients, strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Office experience is preferred, but we will train the right person Prior authorization experience is preferred, but we will train the right personJob Types:
