Experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Overnight Newborn Care Ponte Vedra Beach FL & surround areas | $300 Per Shift | Flexible PRN Schedule Are you an experienced Registered Nurse who still loves caring for newborns but no longer wants the demands of full-time hospital bedside nursing? Happy Baby Night Nurses is seeking experienced RNs throughout the St Johns/Jacksonville areas to provide private, non-medical overnight newborn care for families in their homes. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced, semi-retired, former bedside, or PRN nurses who want to continue using their nursing background in a calm, meaningful environment without returning to a traditional hospital schedule. Work as little as 2-3 nights per week or take on additional shifts based on your availability. Compensation $300 per 10-hour overnight shift Earn up to $1,500 per week based on availability Flexible PRN scheduling Choose the nights you are available to work There is no requirement to work five nights per week. We welcome experienced nurses who are interested in working only a few nights each month. About the Role Happy Baby Night Nurses provides families with overnight newborn support exclusively from Registered Nurses. You will work one-on-one with a newborn and family in their private home, helping parents rest and recover while providing attentive overnight newborn care. Unlike a hospital environment, you are caring for one family's baby at a time in a quiet private-home setting. Typical shifts are approximately 9:00 PM-7:00 AM . Responsibilities Overnight newborn care may include: Feeding breast milk or formula according to parent instructions Diapering Swaddling and soothing Burping and settling baby after feeds Washing bottles and pump parts used during the shift Light infant laundry when needed Maintaining an overnight newborn activity log Helping parents establish consistent newborn routines Providing general newborn education and reassurance within the scope of our non-medical service Communicating important observations to parents Maintaining a calm, safe and professional environment throughout the night Who We Are Looking For We are especially interested in RNs with backgrounds in: NICU Mother-Baby / Postpartum Labor & Delivery Pediatrics Newborn Nursery Candidates should be compassionate, dependable, confident with newborns and comfortable working independently in private homes. Requirements Active, unrestricted Florida Registered Nurse license Current BLS/CPR certification Professional nursing experience Strong newborn, infant or pediatric experience preferred Reliable transportation Ability to work overnight shifts Excellent communication and documentation skills Professional, dependable and respectful demeanor An Excellent Fit for Nurses Who...
