Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic medical setting. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care, coordinating patient treatments, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation. Administer medications and injections accurately while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as KIPU to document patient information meticulously. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams during diagnostic evaluations and critical care interventions. Manage patient triage efficiently to ensure timely response to acute needs. Support infection control practices, laboratory specimen collection, and medical documentation to maintain compliance with HIPAA and NCQA standards. Assist with discharge planning and patient education to promote optimal recovery outcomes. Qualifications Valid nursing license with current registration in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience working in diverse behavioral healthcare environments including hospital medicine, ICU, trauma centers (Level I & II), or emergency medicine. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, preferably KIPU. Experience in specialized nursing fields, especially in behavioral health. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, aseptic techniques, and infection control protocols. Ability to perform complex procedures including IV insertion, and sterile processing. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and with patients from diverse backgrounds. Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays is desirable.
