Qualifications:
Valid, unencumbered RN license Minimum of one recent year of experience in Telemetry nursing Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms and using relevant monitoring equipment Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred) Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
Monitor, assess, and record cardiac telemetry for assigned patients Promptly recognize abnormal heart rhythms and intervene appropriately Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes Administer medications, treatments, and coordinate care using best nursing practices Educate patients and families on cardiac care and post-discharge instructions Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality
