Desired Qualifications:
Valid and unrestricted RN license Minimum of 1 year of recent Stepdown or Progressive Care (PCU) nursing experience Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association preferred) Strong decision-making and critical-thinking skills in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and compassionate bedside manner
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality care to patients in Stepdown and PCU settings Monitor and assess patients' conditions, providing timely interventions and updates to the interdisciplinary team Administer medications, manage drips, and oversee complex monitoring equipment Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans Educate patients and families on recovery processes and ongoing care
