Requirements:

Valid, unencumbered RN license Minimum of 1 year recent PACU nursing experience Current

BLS, ACLS

certifications (PALS preferred) Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Experience with electronic documentation systems a plus Ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing environments

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct care to post-anesthesia patients, assessing and monitoring vital signs Manage pain and complications, intervening rapidly as necessary Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient transitions Document care accurately and promptly in accordance with facility protocols Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care and discharge instructions
