Quinlan Medical Management (QMM) is looking for qualified, experienced and self-motivated, independent worker's compensation nurse case managers in the Macon, GA or surrounding area, to join our growing team of contracted case manager professionals.

Case Manager Registered Nurse Qualifications:

RN license required Certified Case Manager or related case management certification required , to include CCM, CDMS, CRRN, or COHN credentials Minimum of six months experience in Worker's Compensation case management required

Case Manager Registered Nurse Duties & Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to assigned referrals Ability to multitask Submit reports in the allocated time frame Ability to communicate effectively with appropriate parties and document findings. Providing ongoing support and expertise through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation and overall evaluation of individual patient needs Accountability for the care, coordination and discharge planning of all patients Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement in interactions with physicians, payers, patients and families Communicates required clinical information to insurance companies to obtain authorization for proposed services Proactively monitors patient activity, and identifies and resolves delays and obstacles to treatment Plan, implement and coordinate the care of an assigned patient population during the acute and non-acute care phases of illness Promote effective utilization of healthcare resources Act as a health care liaison between the claimant, physicians, employer and insurance carrier At QMM, our goal is to facilitate prompt return to work while advocating for appropriate medical treatment in relation to the injury or illness that has occurred.
