Position Summary The Emergency Department Nurse is responsible for providing compassionate, high-quality patient care for individuals of all ages. Working collaboratively with physicians and the healthcare team, this position assists with assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while helping maintain efficient patient flow in the Emergency Department. Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care to Emergency Department patients of all ages Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient conditions (within scope of practice) Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team Assist with patient flow, supplies, and equipment management Follow nursing standards, safety protocols, and hospital policies Promote teamwork while delivering exceptional patient care Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) Current Georgia Registered Nurse license BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Minimum of one year of Emergency Room experience required Strong communication and critical thinking skills Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Current Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse license Minimum of one year of LPN experience preferred BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum of one year of Emergency Room experience required Strong communication and teamwork skills Why Join WCRMC?
