Brentwood Health Center by Harborview is seeking an energetic, knowledgeable, and inspiring Registered Nurse (RN) Staff Education Director to lead the education and professional development of our clinical team. Our Staff Education Director plays a vital leadership role in developing competent, confident caregivers while ensuring compliance with state, federal, and Harborview standards. What You'll Do As our RN Staff Education Director, you will: Develop, coordinate, and conduct orientation programs for new employees Plan and facilitate ongoing staff education and annual mandatory training Ensure compliance with CMS, Georgia Department of Community Health, OSHA, and Harborview educational requirements Coordinate competency evaluations and clinical skills validations Educate nursing staff on new policies, procedures, and best practices Assist with infection prevention education initiatives Support Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities Monitor education records and maintain accurate documentation Provide mentoring and coaching to licensed nurses and nursing assistants Assist with survey readiness and regulatory compliance efforts Work collaboratively with nursing leadership to promote clinical excellence Qualifications Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license Prefer a minimum of two years of nursing experience (long-term care experience) but not required Previous staff development or education experience preferred Strong communication and presentation skills Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Knowledge of CMS regulations and long-term care standards CPR Instructor certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing others Why Brentwood Health Center?
