West Georgia We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and medically minded caregiver to provide one-on-one support for Hannah, a young adult with significant physical and medical needs. This is not a traditional CNA or basic companion-care position. Hannah requires someone who is comfortable learning and performing a variety of medically related care tasks while also focusing on her comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life. This position may be an excellent fit for a nursing student, EMT, or paramedic . Responsibilities Depending on experience and training, responsibilities may include: Monitoring Hannah's overall condition and recognizing changes from her normal baseline Monitoring oxygen saturation and responding appropriately to changes Oxygen administration and respiratory monitoring BiPAP support Nebulizer treatments Cough-assist equipment Chest-clearance therapy Suctioning Seizure observation and established seizure protocols Safe feeding and aspiration precautions Monitoring fluid intake and urinary/bowel output Assisting with an established bowel-management program Temperature monitoring and support related to dysautonomia Positioning, transfers, mobility assistance, and personal care Bathing, dressing, toileting, and other activities of daily living Following established care plans and documenting important observations Maintaining equipment and Hannah's care area Providing companionship, activities, outings, and opportunities for Hannah to enjoy her day Training will be provided on Hannah's specific equipment, routines, and care protocols. We do not expect every applicant to walk in already knowing every aspect of her care. We are looking for medical experience or anatomy understanding. Schedule & Pay $20-$23 per hour This is a W-2 employee position , not an independent-contractor position. Approximately 8-32 hours per week are available, depending on availability and fit. Daytime and afternoon shifts are available. Students are encouraged to apply. We will work around school and clinical schedules whenever possible. Most Important We can teach Hannah's specific routines and equipment. What is harder to teach is good judgment, dependability, compassion, attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to remain calm. We are looking for someone who wants to know Hannah as a person—not simply complete a checklist of caregiving tasks.
