Minimum Requirements:

At least 18 years of age 10 hour OSHA General Industry Safety and Health Training Able to lift 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years experience in housekeeping or janitorial work 2 years experience as dishwasher in commercial kitchen

Job Responsibilities:

clear and resets dining tables take out trash, dusts, vacuums, sanitizes bathrooms, and launders the bedding When a resident is discharged, the room and its contents must be thoroughly cleaned. Bathroom areas (including all pluming and bathroom fixtures) must be kept clean and sanitized, at least once daily with disinfectant and more often as needed to insure cleanliness and sanitation. Floors, walls, and ceilings must be kept clean Entrances and exits, sidewalks, yards and escape routes must be maintained free of any hazards such as refuse, equipment, unsafe furniture, debris or any other impediments. Monitor inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment and submit monthly purchase order requests Ensure facility is stocked with effective hand hygiene products, hand soap, laundry soap, household disinfectants and other cleaning materials Under the direction of the Prep station cook, wash and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, and maintain a clean kitchen by mopping floors and sanitizing work surfaces. Ensure supplies for shelter and thermal regulation are in clean working condition (blankets, fans, heaters) Maintaining facility equipment used for sanitizing, stripping and waxing floors, changing light bulbs, and performing related maintenance Maintaining and ordering related inventory of janitorial and maintenance supplies and corresponding Safety Data Sheets.
