In this position, you'll actively be providing high-quality care to patients recovering from orthopedic surgical procedures. You will be responsible for patient assessments, monitoring post-operative recovery, administering medications, providing education and discharge instructions, and collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and seamless transitions of care. This is a hands-on role responsible for making our patients as comfortable as possible during their recovery time in our surgery center. ORA holds all of our staff members accountable for providing high-level care, maintaining patient confidentiality, and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations. As a member of our ASC team, you're actively involved in hands-on care that makes a significant difference in the lives of our patients.Requirements:
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as an active RN license in Iowa. We would prefer previous experience in an ambulatory surgery setting, but it is not required. A successful candidate will display excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, strong ability to multitask and prioritize appropriately, and the ability to effectively communicate and interact with patients and their families.Benefits:
