You also help expand membership and connect families to council opportunities in Bettendorf, IA. Key responsibilities include delivering age-appropriate program sessions, supporting youth and adult recruitment efforts, representing Girl Scouts at local community events, and sharing clear information on council programs and resources.Required qualifications/skills:
At least 18 years old Strong self-management, confidence, and active listening Clear written and verbal communication Basic computer skills Ability to lift up to 35 lbs Valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable transportation If you have daytime availability and want a part-time role with meaningful community impact, apply to become a Member Engagement Facilitator. Typical Workday Your day as a Member Engagement Facilitator is planned around daytime programming and community touchpoints. You may start by confirming a school or partner-site schedule, setting up materials, and welcoming girls into a supportive, structured session. Between activities, you'll track attendance and notes, then shift to brief conversations with caregivers about next steps and participation options. Some days include a community event where you share information, answer questions, and help families understand how to get involved. You'll wrap up by organizing supplies, updating records, and preparing for the next visit—keeping your time within a 10 hour weekly schedule.
