Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience within specialties
•Required. Active Iowa state RN License.
•Required. Current
BLS, ACLS & PALS
from AHA.
•Required. COVID Vaccination.
•Required. Duties Provide direct patient care by performing thorough assessments, vital sign monitoring, and physical examinations using advanced physiology knowledge. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform venipuncture with aseptic technique to ensure safety and efficacy. Manage complex cases involving acute pain, trauma medicine, ICU procedures, and post-operative recovery, including ventilator management and airway support. Document all medical records accurately within EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with case management teams to facilitate smooth transitions of care across settings like home care, hospice & palliative medicine, or long-term care facilities. Assist with diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection/processing, sonography, and medical imaging procedures like mammography or gastroscopy.
