1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a 13-week days assignment requiring 24 months of recent Emergency Department experience and an active IA or compact RN license. Details Work in a 34-bed Emergency Department with a mixed patient population Nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1 Performs drips and titrations Uses Epic EMR Day shift flexing between 0500-1730 and 0700-1930 based on department staffing and census Every 4th weekend required No on-call requirements Floats between the Marion freestanding ED and St. Luke's Hospital ED Requirements Active IA or compact/multistate RN license required BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (AHA) required TNCC certification required NIHSS certification required (may obtain during onboarding) CPI, MOAB, MAB, or SAMA de-escalation certification highly preferred (may obtain during onboarding if not certified) Minimum 24 months of recent Emergency Room/Emergency Department experience required Must have completed a travel contract within the previous 18 months Supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 24 months preferred Driver's license required for consideration Additional Information Scrub colors accepted: black, navy blue, or Caribbean blue solids Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming holidays unless the unit is closed Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN float pool) are ineligible to work travel assignments in other UPH markets
