Responsibilities Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced emergency setting Assess patient needs and collaborate with the care team to develop individualized care plans Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changing clinical situations Educate patients and families on care plans, treatment, and follow-up needs Accurately document patient care and maintain thorough medical records Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members to support quality outcomes Delegate and coordinate care activities with other healthcare team members Promote patient safety and infection prevention practices Support a positive team environment focused on communication, professionalism, and excellence Participate in ongoing learning and professional development opportunities Qualifications Education Associates Degree in Nursing License(s)/Certification(s) Current license in the state of Iowa or meets criteria established by Iowa Board of Nursing.
