Category Nursing - RN-Stepdown Job Type Contract A fulfilling opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with experience in a stepdown unit. This contract role is ideal for an RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing At least one year of recent experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit Strong assessment and clinical skills Ability to respond swiftly to changing patient conditions Current BLS and ACLS certifications Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
Carefully monitor and assess stepdown patients with acute and complex needs Administer medications and manage IV infusions accurately Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to update care plans Use critical thinking to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care Document all observations, interventions, and patient responses clearly and promptly Provide support, education, and reassurance to patients and their families Maintain compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations
