This contract opportunity seeks an experienced RN with a background in emergency nursing, ready to respond to urgent medical situations and deliver patient-centered care.
Schedule:
Flexible shifts available (day, evening, and night options) Rotating weekends and holidays as needed
Desired Qualifications:
Current, unrestricted RN license Proven experience as an RN in an emergency room or acute care setting Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking abilities Excellent communication and ability to remain calm under pressure Proficient with electronic medical records and critical care documentation
Key Responsibilities:
Rapidly assess patient conditions and determine appropriate interventions Administer medications, start IVs, and manage emergency equipment Collaborate with healthcare teams to stabilize critical patients Educate patients and families about treatment plans and ongoing care Adhere to all hospital policies and emergency room protocols Document patient care thoroughly and accurately throughout the shift Provide support during medical emergencies and trauma situations
