Health is hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at the Coles County Jail in Charleston, Illinois . With new medical management coming to the facility, this is an excellent opportunity to join TK Health at the beginning of a new partnership and help establish a strong healthcare program and positive culture from the start. Position Details Registered Nurse (RN) $46.00 per hour Full-Time - 40 hours per week Monday through Friday Coles County Jail - Charleston, IL Under New Medical Management What You'll Do As a Registered Nurse with TK Health, you'll provide quality nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare environment while working alongside providers and other members of the facility healthcare team.

Responsibilities :

Assessing and monitoring patient health needs Administering medications and treatments as ordered Responding to medical needs and emergencies Performing nursing assessments and providing appropriate interventions Maintaining accurate and timely medical documentation Coordinating care with providers and other members of the healthcare team Communicating changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare provider Following established clinical, safety, and security procedures Providing professional and compassionate care to an underserved patient population Qualifications Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license Current CPR certification Strong clinical assessment and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team Must successfully complete required background and security clearance Correctional healthcare experience is not required. Nurses with experience in hospitals, emergency care, long-term care, home health, clinics, behavioral health, and other healthcare settings are encouraged to apply. Why Correctional Nursing?
