Job Description

Category Nursing•RN•EP Job Type Contract Make an immediate impact by utilizing your expertise in electrophysiology nursing. This contract position is open to experienced Registered Nurses ready to work in a dynamic EP lab setting, focusing on patient care and technical excellence.
Schedule/Hours:
Day shift with weekend coverage every other week (1DD EOW) On-call responsibility for EP lab (Saturdays and Sundays, 8:00 AM•4:30 PM) Occasional late night until 8:00 PM, one evening per week if necessary
Key Qualifications:
Active Illinois RN license required at the time of application Minimum of one year of recent EP lab experience BLS certification required and up to date Demonstrated proficiency in core EP nursing functions Not open to candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility
Essential Duties:
Deliver skilled care to patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures, including pre• intra• and post-procedure Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other clinicians in a procedural and recovery environment Monitor patient status, provide rapid response to emergent events, and maintain accurate documentation Prioritize patient safety and comfort, using best practices specific to electrophysiology Participate in call rotations as scheduled for the EP lab
