General Job Duties To provide and monitor health services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Essential Job Duties Provide for care of health, illness and injuries to all individuals in Community Living and Day Training. Update and maintain current health record for all individuals. Be available for on-call emergencies on a reasonable schedule. Adhere to all agency P&P. Provide medical training to staff and clients. Complete paperwork necessary to accomplish regulatory compliance. Attend all required meetings, committees, and staffings. Provide monitoring of medications. Serve as a member of the client centered team. Administer medications at Day Training site. Ensure immunizations are current for staff and clients. Teach and monitor medication administration training program. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Additional Job Duties Stays current on trainings required by agency and profession. On call as needed/required. May have to work weekends/holidays. Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be a registered RN in the state of Illinois. Must be 18 years of age. Must have a current driver's license and current auto insurance. Up to date on vaccinations as required. Physical Demands Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, lift, finger, grasp, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions. Visual activity includes preparing and analyzing data and figures, extensive reading, or visual inspection. The worker is subject to inside environment conditions and can be exposed to body waste products. May be required to do first aid duties which may cause exposure to body fluids.
Pay:
$39.74 - $42.88 per hour
