Nights Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract. The RN will provide and coordinate nursing care for adult behavioral health patients, ensuring patient safety and delivering high-quality care in a psychiatric setting.

Schedule:

Night shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM 13-week contract

Start Date:

10/26/2026 Every other weekend and holidays required

Requirements:

Active Illinois RN license Minimum 2 years of nursing experience BLS certification required CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills (APS) required Behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience Experience with Meditech preferred Ability to care for adult patients (18+)

Responsibilities:

Provide and coordinate nursing care for adult behavioral health patients. Administer medications and accurately document patient care. Monitor patients and maintain a safe therapeutic environment. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and group therapy. Assess patient needs and adjust care plans accordingly. Respond to emergencies and implement appropriate interventions. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with safety and infection control policies.

Pay:

From $65.00 per hour
