Providence Hospice and Palliative Care is a growing division of Providence Life Services , which provides a continuum of healthcare, focused on senior living. Providence Hospice is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN), Weekend on Call, PRN in Homer Glen, IL, and surrounding suburbs . We are looking for a compassionate RN to join our established, experienced hospice team. We provide exceptional patient centered care to patients and families facing end of life.
Schedule Available:
Monday-Friday, PRN with evening on call and Weekend Availability Required. Mileage Reimbursement is included at $0.76/mile. Pay is based on type of visit and on weekday, weekend, and holiday.
Pay:
$60.00 - $95.00/visit on weekday, weekend and/or holiday and type of visit. Hourly for this position for training and attending meetings is $35/hour. Join our team and make a difference by providing dignity, comfort, and peace to patients in their final days.
Summary of essential job functions:
Provide skilled nursing care. Provide case management services. Conduct initial assessments of new patients. Travel to patients wherever they reside: At their home in the community, skilled nursing facility, assisted living, etc. Participate in an on-call schedule.
Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of Illinois. At least (1) year of RN experience, preferably in Hospice or Home Health. Current CPR. Driver's License in good standing. Reliable Transportation. EOE #LOW1
