Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity awaits experienced Registered Nurses with a focus in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) nursing. This contract position calls for candidates who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and are adaptable in a dynamic clinical environment.
Key Qualifications:
Active RN license in good standing Demonstrated proficiency in Medical-Surgical care environments Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication abilities Previous experience in acute care, with at least 1 year in a Med Surg setting preferred Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and support patients through diverse medical conditions Current BLS certification (other certifications are a plus)
Schedule:
Variable shifts available; specific schedule details discussed during the interview process
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate care for patients on a Medical-Surgical unit, delivering evidence-based nursing interventions Accurately assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and allied health professionals Monitor and document patient status, medication administration, and response to treatments Educate patients and their families regarding ongoing plans of care, procedures, and post-discharge instructions Uphold infection control measures and facility protocols to promote patient and staff safety Participate in shift handoffs, multidisciplinary rounds, and shared governance initiatives as applicable This position offers the stability of a contract assignment in a supportive clinical setting, where your skills will be valued and your professional growth encouraged.
