Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Contract Experienced registered nurses with a background in emergency care are sought for a dynamic contract role in a hospital emergency department. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who are skilled at handling acute medical situations, thrive in fast-paced settings, and are dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based patient care.
Key Qualifications:
Active RN license in good standing Minimum of one year of recent experience in an emergency room setting Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications such as PALS or TNCC preferred) Ability to assess, triage, and prioritize patient care in high-pressure situations Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills Proficient in collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct, comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions Perform accurate assessments, initiate appropriate interventions, and monitor vital signs Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with hospital protocols Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to manage patient care plans Provide emotional support to patients and families, offering education regarding diagnoses and treatments Accurately document patient history, treatments, and progress using electronic health records Uphold strict safety and infection control standards at all times This is a contract-based position offering a rewarding opportunity to apply your emergency nursing expertise in a collaborative clinical environment.
