As an RN with stepdown experience, you'll support patients transitioning from critical to progressive care, ensuring their safety and responding swiftly to their evolving health needs. This contract position offers a fulfilling professional experience in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Qualifications:
Active RN license (state-specific or compact) Recent experience in a stepdown or progressive care setting required Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills BLS and ACLS certifications current and in good standing Excellent communication and documentation abilities Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced, team-oriented environments
Responsibilities:
Monitor and assess patients recovering from acute illness or surgery, identifying subtle changes in condition Administer medications, therapies, and interventions according to physician orders and care plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care Educate patients and families about recovery processes and ongoing health management Maintain accurate, timely medical records and ensure proper documentation Respond quickly to emergencies or complications, utilizing advanced clinical judgment
