- The
PRE/PACU
Registered Nurse will provide pre-operative and post-anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures related to ophthalmology. This role requires a skilled nursing professional who can effectively assess, plan, and implement nursing care based on patient needs before and after anesthesia. The nurse will serve a critical role in monitoring patients' recovery and ensuring their comfort and safety.Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' conditions preoperatively and ensure readiness for eye surgery.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois. BLS and ACLS certification required. A minimum of 1 years of experience in a pre-operative or post-anesthesia care unit preferred. Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ophthalmology environment.
