RenalCare Associates is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Peoria clinic. Our Clinic RNs play an important role in coordinating care for patients with complex and ongoing healthcare needs. This position requires more than strong nursing skills — it requires critical thinking, sound clinical judgment, effective prioritization and strong communication . You'll work closely with our physicians, patients and clinical team to assess patient needs, coordinate care, respond to clinical concerns and make sure important issues don't fall through the cracks. This is a Monday-Friday outpatient position with no nights, weekends or holidays. What You'll Do As a Clinic RN, you'll manage a variety of patient needs throughout the day. You'll need to be comfortable determining what requires immediate attention, what can wait, when a physician needs to be involved and what follow-up is needed.Responsibilities include:
Triage patient calls and assess symptoms, concerns and clinical needs Use nursing judgment to prioritize urgent versus routine patient issues Recognize changes in patient condition and communicate concerns to the appropriate provider Coordinate physician orders, medications, testing, referrals and follow-up care Review clinical information and ensure appropriate action and follow-through Provide patient education regarding medications, treatment plans and ongoing care Communicate effectively with physicians, patients and other members of the clinical team Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record Manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and patient safetySchedule & Compensation Pay:
$30-$35/hour, based on experienceSchedule:

Critical thinking is essential in this role. Our nurses are expected to look beyond the immediate task, understand the clinical picture, identify potential concerns and take appropriate action. What We're Looking For We're looking for an RN who brings a strong clinical foundation and is comfortable working with a high degree of responsibility and independence.The ideal candidate will:
Hold a current Registered Nurse license Have previous professional nursing experience Demonstrate strong critical-thinking and clinical decision-making skills Be able to prioritize competing patient needs throughout the day Recognize when an issue requires escalation to a physician Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, providers and coworkers Be organized, dependable and attentive to detail Take ownership of patient needs and follow issues through to resolution Be comfortable learning new clinical information and processes Experience in nephrology is helpful, but not required . Nurses with backgrounds in med-surg, critical care, cardiology, primary care, specialty clinics, triage, care coordination or other clinical environments may also be well suited for this position.
