Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure residents' health and safety Provide specialized care for residents with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other cognitive disabilities through tailored memory care strategies Support medication administration following proper protocols and resident rights guidelines Engage residents in meaningful activities and social interactions to promote mental and emotional well-being Practice safe patient lifting techniques and manual handling procedures to prevent injury for both residents and staff Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, resident progress, and incident reports Requirements Valid CNA certification with active licensure or registration in good standing Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or residential care homes preferred Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's support strategies, and behavior management techniques Ability to operate standard passenger vehicles for community outings or appointments when required Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members Familiarity with resident's rights policies and confidentiality standards Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with resident transfers safely CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is a plus Join us in creating a warm and supportive environment where every resident feels valued.
