Your ability to assess multiple high-priority situations, act decisively, and communicate clearly is critical. This role is exclusively onsite, providing essential healthcare support directly to students and staff. You'll play a vital part in daily health management, triage, and emergency care within a bustling elementary school setting.
Key Qualifications:
Current RN licensure required Previous experience in school nursing or similar pediatric settings Demonstrated ability to handle urgent situations calmly and effectively Strong communication and documentation skills Experience supporting children in a school environment preferred Ability to adapt quickly and multitask amid frequent interruptions
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care to students and staff during school hours Respond promptly to health emergencies, injuries, or unexpected incidents Develop and implement individualized health care plans and protocols as needed Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with regulations Liaise with school staff, families, and outside providers on student health issues Promote healthy practices and preventive care among students and staff This contract role spans 35 hours per week, concluding on June 4.
