Key responsibilities include performing unit-specific duties, implementing and modifying care plans based on assessments, and maintaining accurate documentation. The RN conducts initial patient assessments, develops and adjusts care plans, and ensures patient and staff safety by addressing hazards. Additional duties involve assessing IV sites every 4 hours, initiating IVs per policy, and ensuring documentation standards are met.
