The successful candidate holds a valid nursing license in the state of Indiana and current certification in CPR/AED from American Red Cross or AHA.
Hours:
7am- 4pm Monday-Friday Key Responsibilities Treatment of on-site injuries and referral to outside medical care as needed Case management for injured workers and facilitate return to work Provide medical surveillance for all employees including but not limited to annual audiograms, spirometry, vision screening, and lead testing Provide medical surveillance and case management Conduct new hire pre-employment drug and alcohol screening & coordinate medical examinations Participate in ergonomics assessments and job hazard analysis Responsible for training employees in First Aid and CPR/AED as medical responders to aid in the care of injured workers Responsible for training employees in Bloodborne Pathogens, Hearing Conservation, Violence in the workplace, Ergonomics and Heat Stress to meet OSHA requirements Maintain HIPPA compliant documentation Accountable for delivery of agreed to regional health metrics and outcomes Purchase all supplies required for the first aid clinic Develop and meet site budget expectations Drive increased health outcomes including reducing population health risks, managing, and eliminating workplace health risks and supporting improved business outcomes through advancing employee health and wellbeing Willingness to work closely with the Safety Coordinators at the division level to recognize hazards and prevent injury Required Qualifications Active RN license in Indiana On-call being requierd for after hours for injuring management. On-call is split between team 2 or more years hospital or clinic nursing experience in occupational (manufacturing/industrial) nursing or emergency nursing Excellent assessment skills in a clinical setting Phlebotomy Current CPR/AED certification Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of regulatory areas (ADA, OSHA, FMLA, Workers' Compensation) CPR/AED Instructor Health coaching/certification Certified Occupational Health Nurse What's In It for You?
