Job Description

Take your expertise in cardiac care to the next level by supporting a dynamic Cath Lab as a Registered Nurse. This contract opportunity offers exposure to a fast-paced environment, working alongside skilled clinicians who are passionate about delivering quality patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
Expect one weekend per month on-call duty. Weekday on-call responsibilities occur 4-5 times each pay period, with the weekend call included in the total. On-call hours are from end of shift to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday, as scheduled. Weekend on-call runs from end of shift Friday through Monday 7:30 AM.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Active, unencumbered RN license. Previous experience in a Cath Lab or similar cardiac intervention setting. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Strong critical thinking and assessment skills. Comfortable working independently as well as in a collaborative team environment. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Ability to adapt to a demanding and changing workflow.
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab during invasive cardiac procedures. Prepare patients and equipment, monitor vital signs, and respond to emergencies as needed. Collaborate closely with cardiologists, technicians, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Document assessments, interventions, and progress in the electronic medical record. Adhere to best practices for infection control, patient safety, and regulatory compliance. Maintain readiness to respond quickly during on-call hours.
