Every other weekend Job Summary We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit supporting patients requiring advanced cardiac and critical care monitoring. The RN will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams. Unit & Patient Population 16-bed Cardiac

ICU/CVCU

utilizing a universal bed concept Private rooms with patients remaining in the same room from surgery through discharge Pre- and post-open-heart surgery patients General ICU and complex cardiology patients Patients requiring IABP and Impella support Post-cardiac arrest cooling patients Clinical educator provides customized orientation Responsibilities Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments Develop and prioritize individualized patient care plans Administer treatments, therapies, and procedures within RN scope of practice Monitor and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Provide patient and family education Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams Delegate appropriately and oversee patient care activities Participate in quality improvement activities and core measures Promote a safe, healing, and patient-centered environment Requirements Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state (Indiana) ADN or ASN required BSN preferred Current BLS certification Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and care coordination skills Ability to provide age-specific patient care and implement appropriate safety measures Schedule Requirements 3×12-hour night shifts 6:30 PM-7:00 AM 36 hours/week Every other weekend Available for the full contract period

Pay:

$48.00 - $52.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 per week

Do you have an active, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state (Indiana)? Are you comfortable with the rate of $48 - $52 an hour? Are you comfortable working on 3-5 months of contract assignment with extensions? Are you a local or traveler - Travelers are accepted living beyond 50 miles with a copy of their driving license or a state ID stating permanent residency and are eligible for a travel package.
