Why Choose Pediatrics at Deaconess Gateway? The Pediatric Unit is a 19-bed unit featuring 4 PICU beds dedicated to caring for critically ill children and those requiring advanced monitoring. Nurses on this unit have the opportunity to care for infants, children, and adolescents with a wide variety of diagnoses, creating a dynamic and rewarding practice environment. You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team that includes pediatric hospitalists, pediatric intensivists, pediatric nurses, respiratory therapists, nutritionists, physical and occupational therapists, as well as specialists in pediatric GI, neurology, cardiology, and infectious disease. Our unit is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, family-centered environment that supports both the physical and emotional well-being of children and their families. What You'll Do As a Registered Nurse on our Pediatric Unit, you will: Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to pediatric patients. Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Coordinate and manage patient care plans. Supervise care delivered by other members of the healthcare team. Educate patients and families throughout their healthcare journey. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Required:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or a

Compact State Preferred:

One (1) year of RN experience Previous pediatric nursing experience Join Deaconess Gateway's Pediatric team and help provide expert care, comfort, and hope to our youngest patients when they need it most.

Shift:

Days , 7:00a - 7:00p. Rotating Weekends/Holidays
