Job Description

Team Select Homecare is looking for Registered Nurses to join our Seymour team! Our nurses will document and provide extended hourly skilled nursing care in a 1:1 setting to our patients in their home or school environment. We are hiring specifically for a special needs pediatric male in Seymour who requires g-tube care while at school. The schedule is 4 days per week, 10 hour day shift. Why Team Select Homecare? Assist the patient in learning appropriate self-care techniques and assure that the patient/family is involved in implementing the plan of care Responsibilities Implement the nursing care plan for each patient. Initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures. Teach and counsel the patient and family/significant others regarding the nursing care needs and other related problems of the patient at home. Maintain and complete records of observations, treatments and care of patient. Help update the patient plan of care. Administer medications and treatments as ordered. Demonstrate competent performance of technical skills according to established procedures before performing new skills.
