Local CDL A Flatbed Driver About United Pipe & Steel United Pipe & Steel is a leading distributor of pipe and tube products serving customers throughout the country. As part of the Reliance, Inc. family of companies, we combine the resources and stability of a larger organization with the teamwork and responsiveness of a local operation. The Opportunity We're looking for a safety-focused, dependable Local CDL A Flatbed Driver to join our team. Our local drivers play an important role in delivering our products safely and on time while providing excellent service to our customers. This is a full-time position offering steady, year-round work and the benefit of being home daily. Specific start times, routes, hours, and compensation vary by location and will be included with each individual job posting. What You'll Do Safely operate a Class A flatbed commercial vehicle. Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain assigned equipment and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly. Follow all applicable DOT regulations and federal, state, and local requirements regarding hours of service, vehicle operation, and inspections. Properly secure and maintain loads throughout transport. Complete scheduled deliveries and communicate anticipated delays. Verify the count and condition of delivered materials and complete required delivery documentation. Represent United Pipe & Steel professionally while providing a consistently high level of customer service. What We're Looking For Clean driving record; no DUI/DWI convictions in the past ten years; no more than three violations occurring in the last 3 years. Minimum of one year of verifiable commercial driving experience, with flatbed experience preferred. Must be able to operate manual transmissions in certain markets. Physical Requirements Physical position, involving heavy lifting (~50 lbs.). Ability to climb on and off flatbed trailers, re-strapping or tarping product as needed. Able to pass random drug tests. Able to pass pre-employment physical exam.

Compensation:
