Job Description

HR Assistant Job Description:
Requires processing & receiving payroll/files, attendance tracking, systems use and maintenance and monitoring payroll tax filings including 941's, state UI and FUTA, summaries of deposits and filings, state reconciliations, etc. This position also uses report-writing programs, facilitates annual audits, answers interrogatories, sets up garnishments and support orders, monitors the master control and payroll summaries and prepares deductions reports. Most importantly, this position researches issues and assists Associates with questions.
Requirements:
The successful candidate must have 3-5 years of payroll processing, time and attendance tracking and report writing training and experience using systems/tools such as ADP, Ceridian, Kronos, Crystal, ReportsSmith, etc. A proven record of discretion, confidentiality and professionalism is required. Candidates must have excellent customer service / counselor relations and verbal and written communications skills. This position also requires good organizational, time management, problem solving, analysis and trouble shooting skills and previous Human Resources assistant or generalist experience.
