Working in a Level II Trauma pediatric ICU with 15 beds allows you to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology, diverse case profiles, and valuable mentorship from tenured medical teams in a teaching hospital setting. Schedule:
7:00 PM 7:00 AM (night shifts)
Qualifications:
Active RN license with eligibility to practice in Kansas Minimum 1-year recent experience in acute care hospital pediatric ICU Current BLS and PALS certifications Experience with CRRT, APHON, or a background in pediatric teaching hospitals is a plus
Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional pediatric critical care to infants and children in a Level II Trauma facility Perform IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements Collaborate with intensivists, RTs, and other team members across shifts Demonstrate proficiency in Meditech/CPN EMR and CR monitoring Provide compassionate, family-centered care under high-pressure situations
