HCA Healthcare is seeking a committed Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room to become part of our respected team. This role entails providing critical surgical care, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced operating room environment. You will collaborate with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals at one of our advanced surgery centers, ensuring best practice surgical nursing techniques are applied in the perioperative phase, enhancing patient outcomes. Responsibilities Assess, plan, and implement total patient care before, during, and after surgery. Ensure a sterile and safe surgical environment, adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations and standards. Collaborate with surgical teams and healthcare specialists in a multidisciplinary approach. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate using computerized documentation systems. Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments. Provide emotional support to patients and families, educating them about post-operative care. Required Skills Strong clinical skills in a surgical environment Ability to make quick, accurate decisions under pressure Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in using healthcare software and computerized systems Adept at multitasking and prioritization in a dynamic environment
